About Daren

I was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California and moved to Santa Barbara in 1989. I graduated from Westmont College in 1991 with a degree in Sociology.

I have been a licensed Real Estate Appraiser for 25 years, working closely with agents, lenders, homeowners, contractors and attorneys. I have seen approximately 7,500 homes throughout Santa Barbara County.

I'm an extremely fortunate father to four amazing kids (Allie 25, Ryder 23, Elsie 19, Dodge 16). I am so proud, humbled and inspired daily by these four wonderful humans.
